Adriatic Metals CEO Laura Tyler on Vares Project ramp-up, future growth strategy

Adriatic Metals PLC CEO, Laura Tyler, recently spoke with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion to discuss the company’s significant developments, particularly the progress towards commercial production at the Vares Silver Project.

Tyler, who brings extensive experience in polymetallic mining from her previous roles at BHP, highlighted the company’s recent milestones, including successful stope blasts in August and September. She also reaffirmed that Adriatic Metals is on track to reach full production by December, despite some weather-related challenges.

Tyler emphasized the company’s strong infrastructure and motivated workforce as key factors driving the project’s success, noting that the Vares site is well-prepared to meet its ambitious production goals. “We’ve got all the key infrastructure in place to make this a success,” Tyler stated.

Looking ahead, Adriatic Metals is focused on safely ramping up production, reducing debt, and exploring additional growth opportunities through exploration projects and potential regional mergers and acquisitions.
